Touring and Photographic Safaris.
African Wanderer Safaris is based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
We specialise in Historical and Game Viewing Tours in The Surrounding area. Specifically
Half and Full Day Tours to Matobo National Park, where
one can experience the magical beauty of the area, while driving and walking in
the Matobo Hills, visiting Bushman rock art, and taking in the Panorama from Worlds
View ( Rhodes Grave ), or getting up close and personal, tracking Rhino through
the bush. All times receiving wide and varied information on the relevant interest,
be it the history of Cecil John Rhodes, or King Mzilikazi, or a dung beetle rolling
a ball over the road. Nothing is irrelevant. In Matobo National
Park we utilise Big Cave Camp as an overnight accommodation for clients
Alternatively we can offer tours to Khami Ruins, the Bulawayo
Natural History Museum, Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage,
King Mzilikazi’s grave site, or one of the historical Battlefields.
African Wanderer also offers tours in Hwange National Park.
Again, both full and half Day tours, as well as multiple day Tented Safaris inside
the National Park, where one is able to game view both from a Safari Landrover and
on foot, with walking trails, to track the game and gain a deeper understanding
of ones’ surroundings while learning about plants, bird calls, track and sign.
We can also tailor make a package to your requirements, arranging accommodation,
transport and guiding anywhere in Zimbabwe, as well as offer multiple day tours
in specific parks for clients who would like to relax and absorb the experiences
of being in the bush. We can also offer Specialised Tours to those that have specific
interests. Be it Bird watching, Rock Art, History or game.
